The Hostess Role in Jeddah

Accor is seeking a Hostess to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in hospitality, focusing on creating a positive first impression and ensuring guest satisfaction within the restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of dining room specifics, including layout, table numbers, capacity, hours, pricing, and dress code.
• Manage restaurant reservation procedures, including taking, recording, and confirming bookings and cancellations.
• Monitor daily house count, arrivals, departures, and VIPs, communicating relevant changes to management.
• Ensure menus, check folders, and the hostess stand are clean, organized, and readily available.
• Greet guests upon arrival, seat them according to the floor plan, and ensure satisfaction with their assigned table.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to inquiries, and maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Handle guest complaints following established procedures to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist restaurant staff as needed to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Conduct systematic table visits during each meal period to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Promote F&B outlets to customers during downtime and assist with menu printing.

Candidate Requirements

• Punctual arrival for duty, wearing the correct uniform and name tag, and maintaining high standards of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Ability to provide friendly, courteous, and professional service consistently.
• Capability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
• Adherence to hotel rules, regulations, and policies, particularly those related to Fire, Hygiene, Health, and Safety.
• Flexibility to extend job duties and undertake other reasonable responsibilities as assigned, including redeployment if business demands require.
• Willingness to attend required training and meetings.
