IT specialist ( Saudi Nationals only )

About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking an IT Specialist to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position is open exclusively to Saudi Nationals and requires 0-1 years of experience. The IT Specialist will be responsible for supporting the company's information systems and ensuring smooth technical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies and procedures and protect company assets.
• Address guests’ service needs and exchange information with other employees using electronic devices.
• Communicate with IS personnel to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to software, systems, internet access, hardware, and peripheral equipment.
• Refer major problems or defective products to vendors/technicians.
• Respond to program error messages by identifying and correcting problems or terminating programs.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose computer equipment and systems.
• Maintain inventory of all technology devices and manage computer networks, server systems, and supporting software.
• Provide network communications support and perform system backups.
• Maintain and upgrade hardware, software, and website technical architecture related to hardware and telecommunication connectivity.
• Provide end-user support, including managing user accounts (setup, removal, password resets) to ensure confidentiality and proper use.
• Install, configure, and modify workstations, including setting up cables, desktop computers, laptops, docking stations, and printers.
• Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or provide technical assistance.
• Secure all backup tapes and computer/telephone rooms, and educate users on procedures for securing Personal Identifiable Information (PII).

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in an IT support or specialist role.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a team environment to support the essential technical needs of the hotel operations, ensuring guests and associates have reliable access to necessary IT services.
