About the Role

HungerStation is seeking a Last Mile Support Officer to join its team in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on critical operational support for last-mile delivery services. The role involves comprehensive administrative and coordination tasks essential for efficient rider and asset management, contributing to the smooth execution of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes for riders, including the collection, verification, and uploading of necessary documents such as IDs, contracts, and license copies.
  • Coordinate effectively with vendors and internal teams for all rider replacements or updates.
  • Issue, track, and recover rider assets, including delivery devices, uniforms, fuel cards, and car keys, ensuring accurate record updates and reporting discrepancies to the Asset Control Associate and Regional Supervisor.
  • Handle and record petty cash usage for site-level rider needs, such as fuel, repairs, and emergencies, submitting expense reports with supporting documents and ensuring compliance with cash handling policies.
  • Support the onboarding of leased vehicles, coordinate with drivers, and report vehicle-related issues, logging vehicle usage, accident reports, and transfer activities in alignment with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Operational Coordination and Compliance

  • Ensure riders are thoroughly briefed on policy updates and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports detailing onboarding status, asset movements, petty cash usage, and any incidents.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for rider administrative support during assigned shifts.
  • Coordinate with Safety, Facility, and P&L teams for escalated issues or cross-functional needs.
  • Provide replacement coverage during officer leave periods or peak operational times to maintain service continuity.

Adherence to Standards and Improvement

The Last Mile Support Officer is responsible for following all relevant policies, procedures, and processes to ensure daily work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. This role also involves contributing to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices to enhance overall effectiveness. Furthermore, the officer is expected to uphold a high-performance working environment and promote HungerStation’s values.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of professional experience, ideally within an operational support or administrative capacity.

Work Setting

This full-time position is based in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia, within the operational framework of HungerStation. The role requires active participation in supporting last-mile delivery operations.
