About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia (ex-Souq) is seeking a Field Support, ACES TREX to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role, internally known as an ACES Specialist, is integral to building a world-class last-mile operation that consistently exceeds customer expectations through efficient, accurate, and cost-effective deliveries. The specialist will drive process standardization across Saudi Arabian operations and contribute to the optimization of delivery station processes.

Role Purpose and Impact

As a member of the Transportation Excellence (TREX) team, the ACES Specialist will provide delivery stations with the necessary knowledge and tools to enhance quality-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This involves leading the Last Mile (LM) quality agenda by addressing complex challenges with practical solutions, developing a deep understanding of operational processes, and creating effective communication plans to ensure process alignment across all impacted teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-ground support and serve as the primary contact for station management regarding process improvements and benchmarking.
  • Implement effective change processes and contribute to network standardization through the sharing of best practices.
  • Monitor logistics and delivery success using both in-station and on-road performance indicators.
  • Develop and execute action plans to elevate current performance to benchmark rates.
  • Act as a key driver for successful order execution, positively influencing customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and leveraging analytics for decision-making.
  • Experience participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and enhance controllership with measurable results, or experience working with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Fluent in Arabic (speaking, writing, and reading).
  • Demonstrated experience with written and verbal communication and presentation.
  • Fluent in English.
  • High level of written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques.
  • Knowledge of Lean methodologies or a basic understanding of Lean methodology.
  • Experience collaborating with operations and business teams to communicate problem impacts and understand business requirements.
  • Proficiency in using the entire MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Proven ability to work proactively and independently, consistently meeting deadlines and delivering on projects and tasks.
  • Capability to deep dive into operations processes and develop innovative ideas for process challenges.
  • Demonstrated proactive problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
