Maintenance Manager

About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role is responsible for the comprehensive planning, management, and supervision of infrastructure operation and maintenance activities. The successful candidate will ensure that all infrastructure assets meet required quality and technical standards, maintaining their safety and reliability.

Role Context and Scope

The Maintenance Manager will oversee a broad range of urban infrastructure, including roads, bridges, tunnels, drainage systems, and flood channels. This position is critical for maintaining the integrity and performance of essential public assets, ensuring their long-term functionality and compliance with all relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all infrastructure operation and maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement comprehensive preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance plans.
• Prepare annual and long-term maintenance plans and programs.
• Oversee all maintenance works, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality.
• Monitor the condition and performance of infrastructure assets.
• Review maintenance methods, technical reports, work plans, and engineering documents.
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all maintenance works comply with approved standards, specifications, quality, and timelines.
• Monitor progress, costs, resource allocation, and overall performance of maintenance projects.
• Identify potential technical and operational risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineering and maintenance teams.
• Monitor contractors to ensure full compliance with contractual requirements.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Prepare detailed progress reports, maintenance plans, and management reports.
• Support infrastructure asset management and development programs.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance maintenance efficiency, reliability, and service quality.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure operation and maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, manage, and supervise complex maintenance activities.
• Strong understanding of quality, technical, health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and maintenance plans.
