About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Private Label & Directly Imported Pharma Brands Department Manager to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah Region. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on leading the strategy and execution for private label and direct import pharmaceutical brands.

Role Overview

In alignment with the defined Private Label Nahdi strategy, this role is accountable for the overall New Product Development (NPD) and Direct Imports process. The primary objective is to ensure the successful execution of agreed launch plans and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of Private Label and Direct Imports launch plans to achieve sales, profit, and business objectives.
  • Manage Private Label and Direct Imports projects from concept through to launch, ensuring alignment with business strategy, timelines, and performance targets.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for effective implementation of product development initiatives.
  • Monitor, track, and report on the performance of Private Label and Direct Imports initiatives.
  • Identify and source new manufacturers and suppliers through market research, trade fairs, and strategic sourcing.
  • Build, maintain, and manage strategic vendor relationships, including performance evaluations, negotiations, and contract management.
  • Ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle by collaborating with Supply Chain, Commercial, Marketing, Quality, and Regulatory functions.
  • Develop and propose annual product development and launch plans based on market insights, competitive analysis, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory teams to ensure product and supplier compliance with legal and internal standards.
  • Lead contract negotiations and oversee the preparation and maintenance of supplier agreements.
  • Plan, prioritize, and lead product development projects, ensuring effective project governance.
  • Conduct category assessments and portfolio reviews to identify growth opportunities and recommend new product launches.
  • Ensure all NPD projects are delivered within defined timelines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Conduct pre- and post-launch cost-benefit analyses to evaluate financial viability and maximize return on investment.
  • Monitor product lifecycle performance and recommend optimization opportunities.
  • Lead supplier selection activities, including RFQ preparation, bid evaluations, and vendor recommendations.

Team Management and Development

This role involves managing and developing talent within the team. It requires fostering a high-performance and growth-oriented culture through coaching and close collaboration with other company functions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 5-10 years of experience.
  • Experience in FMCG Retail, with a preference for Private Label or Category Management product development background.
  • International business and overseas buying experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
