Project Manager

About the Role

MADKOUR is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Energy Projects to oversee High-Voltage (HV) Substation and Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is based in the Makkah region, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah, and requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in the field. The Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, adhering to all specifications, contractual requirements, and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HV Substation and OHTL projects from mobilization and execution through testing, commissioning, and final handover.
• Develop and monitor project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee construction activities for HV substations, including civil works, electrical installation, equipment erection, testing, and commissioning.
• Manage OHTL construction activities, including tower foundations, tower erection, conductor stringing, and associated works.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable standards, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure effective project execution.
• Monitor project progress, costs, and schedule performance, implementing corrective actions as required.
• Manage project risks, contractual obligations, variations, and potential delays in coordination with relevant teams.
• Ensure effective implementation of HSE policies and quality standards across all project activities.
• Oversee procurement, material delivery, equipment mobilization, and workforce planning.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and ensure effective coordination between engineering, construction, planning, quality, HSE, and commercial functions.
• Prepare project progress reports, forecasts, and management updates.
• Ensure timely completion, successful commissioning, and handover of projects in line with contractual commitments.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, specifically within energy projects.
• Previous experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is mandatory.
• Must possess a valid Iqama, indicating residency in KSA.

Work Location

This position is based in the Makkah region, with work primarily conducted in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
