Role Overview

Abdul Latif Jameel is seeking a Regulations Affair Group Senior Manager for a full-time position in Makkah, specifically in Jeddah or Makkah. This role involves supervising all Ministry of Commerce (MOC)-related documents for New Product Development (NPD), monitoring MOC rules and regulations within ALJM centers, and overseeing inventory control operations and MOC dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with MOC Regulations in NPD processes.
• Manage and enhance adherence to Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) regulations and requirements.
• Verify the implementation of VAT law for NPD invoices.
• Translate parts names to Arabic before uploading them into the SAP system.
• Increase awareness of regulations among Parts Managers through field visits.
• Supervise the collection of information from centers, regions, and related departments.
• Manage business reports and gather project updates.
• Oversee the performance evaluation of wholesalers and centers regarding parts operations compliance with MOC standards.
• Lead the compilation of data from various sources and prepare summary reports, including mathematical and analytical calculations.
• Supervise the preparation of reports, memoranda, letters, and other documents under the close supervision of the department head.
• Manage and maintain the process for on-time parts arrival.
• Ensure all new parts names are Arabized and review the master file.
• Periodically check parts in JPDC and ensure compliance.
• Monitor and resolve MOC complaints.
• Develop communication protocols, discuss regulatory changes, and ensure compliance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of MOC and SASO regulations.

Impact and Authority

This role has a direct impact on ensuring compliance with MOC and SASO regulations in NPD and on raising awareness of MOC regulations among parts employees. The job holder can review, develop, update, and monitor the parts master file to ensure data validity. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with MOC and SASO regulations in NPD and monitoring and analyzing MOC complaints in the VOG report. This position plays a crucial supportive role in ensuring compliance with government regulations and in communication with Legal and Compliance to meet the NPD department's needs. The role also involves a strategic function in developing and monitoring the team and creating a succession plan within the department.
