Role Overview

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking a dedicated Reservations Supervisor to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role is central to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all room blocks, reservations, and group market codes. The supervisor will be responsible for processing reservation requests, identifying guest needs, and upholding company policies and procedures to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes.
  • Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received through various channels, including phone, fax, or mail.
  • Identify guest reservation needs, determine appropriate room types, and verify availability and rates.
  • Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies clearly to callers.
  • Accommodate and document special requests, and answer questions about property facilities, services, and room accommodations.
  • Input and access data efficiently within the reservation system.
  • Respond to and resolve challenges related to accommodating rooming requests.
  • Set up proper billing accounts in accordance with Accounting policies and follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.

Leadership and Operational Support

  • Assist management in training, scheduling, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees.
  • Serve as a role model and the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Communicate company values and culture to new employees and review/implement new Reservations procedures.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and document guest issues and concerns, or escalate them to the appropriate individual.

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs with genuine appreciation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or *** equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

General Requirements

  • Ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats.
  • Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
