Risk Compliance & Continuity Senior Manager

About the Role

Jeddah Transport Company is seeking a Risk Compliance & Continuity Senior Manager to lead and oversee the Governance section. This full-time position is based in Makkah, specifically covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves establishing, implementing, and enhancing governance frameworks, structures, policies, and practices to support effective decision-making, organizational accountability, regulatory alignment, and institutional maturity across the company.

Role Context and Reporting

The Senior Manager will operate under the direct supervision and guidance of the Head of Legal, Governance, Risk, and Continuity (LGRC). This position is critical for ensuring robust governance practices and compliance within the organization, contributing to the company's overall stability and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Governance Department and manage all governance-related activities and initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company’s governance framework, manuals, policies, and procedures.
• Support the establishment and enhancement of governance structures, authorities, roles, and accountability mechanisms.
• Review and develop governance-related documents, including Board and Committee charters, delegation frameworks, and governance policies.
• Monitor governance compliance and ensure alignment with applicable laws, regulations, directives, and best practices.
• Coordinate and support other sections within the department as required.
• Provide advice, clarifications, and interpretations on governance matters, including frameworks, authorities, roles, responsibilities, and Delegation of Authority (DoA) applications.
• Support the implementation of governance controls and institutional practices to enhance transparency, accountability, and decision-making.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure governance alignment across organizational activities and initiatives.
• Support governance aspects related to strategic initiatives, projects, and organizational transformations.
• Prepare governance reports, presentations, and updates for management and relevant committees.
• Contribute to governance awareness and promote a strong governance culture across the organization.
• Coordinate with external consultants and advisors on governance-related engagements when necessary.
• Maintain governance registers, frameworks, and related documentation.
• Perform any other related duties assigned within the scope of the role.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in governance, risk, compliance, or continuity roles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing governance frameworks within a corporate environment.

Work Location

This position is based in Makkah, with responsibilities extending to operations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role is full-time.
