Role Overview

AECOM is seeking a Senior Manager Construction (High-rise) to join its team in Makkah, with operations also extending to Jeddah. This full-time role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience and involves comprehensive management and administration of high-rise construction projects, ensuring adherence to project objectives, policies, and best practices, particularly those related to vertical construction methodologies and multi-story coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer high-rise construction projects, establishing project-specific objectives, policies, and protocols aligned with PMC standards, with an emphasis on vertical construction and multi-story coordination.
• Provide strategic management and guidance to subordinate managers and supervisors, enforce company and project policies, and serve as the primary liaison between AECOM, clients, and design teams on complex high-rise developments.
• Oversee all facets of high-rise project construction through subordinate managers, supervisors, and trade partners to ensure compliance with design specifications, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Administer projects throughout their complete lifecycle, from pre-construction budgeting and scheduling through design coordination, procurement, shop drawing development, RFI management, construction execution, space turnover, and contract closeout.
• Maintain significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned high-rise construction projects, managing complexities such as vertical logistics planning, material hoisting coordination, multi-story safety protocols, and multi-phase coordination.
• Coordinate with design teams and consultants to address constructability issues specific to high-rise construction, identify value engineering opportunities, and manage design modifications while maintaining project schedule and budget integrity across all vertical phases.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on high-rise developments.
• Demonstrated expertise in vertical construction methodologies and multi-story coordination.
• Strong background in design coordination and resolving design-related construction challenges in multi-story environments.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and compliance with design specifications.
