About Alawaly Real Estate and the Role

Alawaly Real Estate is seeking a Senior Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to join its team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on driving technical office operations for the company's developments. The role involves leading the comprehensive review and approval of mechanical designs from initial concept through to IFC issuance.

Purpose of the Role

The Senior Mechanical Technical Office Engineer is responsible for ensuring technical excellence in mechanical designs, including HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems. This role is critical for clearing multidisciplinary clashes and maintaining alignment with Saudi codes across Alawaly Real Estate's landmark projects, contributing to the successful execution of engineering plans.

Core Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and review comprehensive HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting drawings and calculations from concept through to IFC stage.
  • Lead structural, architectural, and electrical coordination workflows to successfully resolve engineering clashes prior to site execution.
  • Review, verify, and approve Material Submittals, Shop Drawings, RFIs, and Method Statements for all mechanical systems.
  • Provide advanced engineering support on-site to resolve critical technical challenges and ensure compliance with approved designs.

Experience and Technical Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within a technical office environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the design, review, and approval processes for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
  • Familiarity with Saudi building codes and regulations relevant to mechanical installations.
