About the Role: Senior Project Manager (MCF/Data Centres)

Haskoning is seeking a Senior Project Manager (MCF/ Data Centres) to join one of the world’s leading data centre design and engineering teams. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involves working on complex, mission-critical projects across the Kingdom and the wider region. The position requires 5-10 years of experience and offers an opportunity to significantly shape Haskoning’s growing Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) presence in KSA.

As a senior project leader, this role combines project leadership with significant commercial influence, encompassing client relationships, proposal development, contract negotiations, and project delivery. The Senior Project Manager will lead large data centre projects from early feasibility and concept design through detailed design, procurement, construction support, and final delivery. This includes serving as the client’s main point of contact, managing multidisciplinary design and engineering teams, overseeing project commercial performance, building strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring overall project quality.

In this senior position, the role also involves contributing to regional data centre business development, including proposal contributions, contract negotiation support, and identifying opportunities with existing and new clients to position Haskoning as a trusted advisor in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East region.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and managing complex data centre projects across the full project life cycle, from initiation to completion.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary design and engineering teams to deliver integrated, high-quality project outcomes.
• Managing project controls, including planning, cost control, risk management, contract management, reporting, and change control.
• Acting as the main interface for clients, partners, authorities, and senior stakeholders.
• Preparing and contributing to commercial proposals, tenders, fee estimates, and project execution strategies.
• Supporting contract negotiations and ensuring clear scope, deliverables, risks, and responsibilities.
• Identifying project risks and opportunities, and proactively steering projects to achieve optimal value for clients and Haskoning.

The Mission Critical Facilities Team

As a Senior Project Manager (MCF/ Data Centres), you will be part of Haskoning’s global Mission Critical Facilities team. This team provides multidisciplinary consultancy services for data centre clients, including colocation data centres, internet service providers, and telecom companies. The team comprises experts in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, civil, structure, building, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, and security technology, collaborating to develop integrated designs for Data Centres.

Location and Work Environment

This role is based in Haskoning’s Riyadh office. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues and clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and across Haskoning’s international data centre network.
