About Edition

Edition is seeking a Server to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to candidates with 0-1 years of experience in the hospitality industry. The role involves contributing to a positive guest experience through attentive service and professional conduct.

Role Overview

The Server is responsible for providing dining service to guests, ensuring a memorable experience through warm greetings, meticulous table preparation, and a friendly demeanor. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of the menu to assist guests with selections and special requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and attend to tables promptly.
• Serve food and beverages, offering recommendations as needed.
• Provide detailed menu knowledge to assist guests with inquiries and special requests.
• Accurately and timely record transactions using the MICROS system.
• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with each dish and drink.
• Clean tables, complete closing tasks, and restock tableware and other supplies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience is desirable. Previous experience as a waiter is considered an advantage.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to move and lift up to 25 pounds (10 kg). Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods.
• Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance with a clean uniform.
• Training: Completion of safety training and certification is required prior to employment.
