About the Role

Edition is seeking a Server to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time position involves providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience from seating to payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Answer questions about menu selections and communicate with the kitchen regarding menu inquiries, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability.
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Record transactions accurately in the MICROS system at the point of order.
• Monitor guests' satisfaction with each food course and beverage.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, and glassware throughout the day.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights.
• Present accurate checks to guests and process payments.

Operational Duties and Professional Conduct

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance; ensure confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with colleagues and guests.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds (** kg) without assistance, and objects exceeding 50 pounds (** kg) with assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, steps, and stairs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High School Diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience is desired.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• License or Certification: None specified.
