About the Role

The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) is seeking a Sr. Associate Org. & People Devt. to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role provides operational support for Knowledge and Growth activities, initiatives, and systems, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.

Role Overview

This position is responsible for supporting various People and Culture functions, including Learning & Development, Performance Development, Staff Engagement, Staff Promotion, P&C strategy and performance, and Succession Management. The role involves administering platforms, providing training, and generating reports across these critical areas to enhance organizational and people development within the Bank.

Staff Engagement Responsibilities

  • Administer the end-to-end staff engagement platform, including communications and campaigns.
  • Maintain the employee database relevant to engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor adherence to standard protocols for engagement processes.
  • Report on the progress and results of staff engagement surveys.
  • Contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of the engagement process.

Performance Development Responsibilities

  • Administer the performance system in itfc, from maintaining employee data to goal setting and performance reviews or check-ins.
  • Provide training and development to all users, including staff and managers, on the performance system.
  • Report on the status and progress of performance development activities.
  • Ensure data integrity within the system and establish relevant dashboards to provide live insights.
  • Generate and prepare annual performance reports for the calculation of staff merit increases and/or incentives.

Learning & Development and Other Support Functions

  • Support the preparation of L&D strategies, annual L&D plans, and budgeting.
  • Administer the Learning Experience Platform, including maintaining the employee database and ensuring learning paths are mapped in alignment with approved L&D plans.
  • Assist in the successful implementation of training and professional development activities for itfc employees, according to the approved L&D Plan.
  • Prepare all payments related to Knowledge and Growth activities.
  • Support the processes for Staff Promotion, Staff Performance Appeals, and Succession Management (HIPO) activities in itfc, ensuring adherence to current policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the People Experience team to ensure synergy and reliable backup on HRIS systems, including SAP and other related activities.
  • Establish dashboards to ensure timely reporting and engage stakeholders with the work of the Knowledge and Growth department.
  • Support Knowledge and Growth communication campaigns to ensure staff awareness and understanding of services, and gather insights for service improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in organizational development, people development, or a related Human Resources field. A strong understanding of learning and development, performance management, and staff engagement platforms is essential for this role.
