About the Store Keeper Role

Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) is seeking a qualified Store Keeper to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position requires an individual with 2-5 years of experience to manage inventory control processes within an assigned depot. The Store Keeper will act as the focal point for the warehouse, ensuring all operational standards, policies, and procedures are followed for sales orders and returns.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the inventory control process for the assigned depot, serving as the warehouse focal point.
• Ensure adherence to laid-down Operational Excellence Standards, Policies & Procedures for managing sales orders and returns.
• Implement the shift plan according to daily depot requirements and delegate/prioritize duties to achieve objectives.
• Receive "Goods In" products in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure accurate and timely picking of all orders.
• Maintain and correctly record all inventory-related documentation, both electronic and paper.
• Ensure stock integrity, adequate record keeping, and manage documentation to confirm proper stock levels.
• Properly store goods in predefined locations with correct coding, labeling, and storage conditions.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counting and stock reconciliation.
• Process all required administration and documents related to issuing, receiving, and returns as per company policy.
• Monitor the issuing of products according to release dates and apply the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principle.
• Coordinate the loading and unloading of Sales Vans in accordance with planning to ensure timely product availability.
• Dispose of wasted products and record waste according to company procedures.
• Ensure all SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) regulations and procedures are applied for storekeeping.

Maintaining Standards

The Store Keeper is responsible for upholding the company's standards across several critical areas. This includes maintaining high levels of Housekeeping and Hygiene within the store, ensuring Food Safety protocols are strictly followed, and demonstrating Accuracy, Discipline, and strong Performance in all duties. Adherence to Health & Safety (H&S) regulations is paramount to ensuring a safe working environment.

Problem Resolution and Administration

A key aspect of this role involves proactively recognizing and resolving discrepancies as they arise within the inventory system. The Store Keeper will also perform other duties as requested by the Operations Manager and Supervisor, ensuring efficient administrative support for all warehouse operations. This includes managing all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and thereby maintain inventory control.

Qualifications and Experience

• Required experience: 2-5 years in a similar role.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes and warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of SOPs, FIFO, and SHEQ regulations.
