About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Supervisor-Stewards for a full-time position in Jeddah. This role involves directing and assisting stewards to ensure efficient cleanup operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas. The Supervisor-Stewards will also support kitchen and banquet operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and assist stewards to optimize cleanup efficiency.
• Ensure proper water temperature and chemical levels for cleaning, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist with banquet plate-ups and support cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks.
• Provide necessary items to cooks and ensure adequate stock for banquet and buffet services.
• Return cleaned items to their designated locations.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors.
• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, protect company assets, and ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and address service needs.
• Communicate professionally, develop positive working relationships, and support team goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds, standing or walking for extended periods, and reaching overhead or below the knees.
• Execute other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Experience required: 2-5 years.
