About the Supervisor Systems /IT Role

Marriott International is seeking a Supervisor Systems /IT to join our team in Makkah or Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is exclusively for Saudi nationals. The role focuses on troubleshooting and resolving technical problems related to computer software and systems, providing essential technical guidance, and implementing process improvements. The Supervisor Systems /IT will also manage and coordinate telecommunications activities and support management in various employee-related tasks.

Core Technical Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems or issues related to computer software and systems.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to resolve business problems effectively.
• Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements within IT operations.
• Enter commands and activate controls on computer and peripheral equipment to integrate and operate systems.
• Troubleshoot, modify, support, manage, and maintain application programs and user accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of daily data communication transactions, identified problems, remedial actions taken, and installation activities.

Telecommunications and User Support

• Manage and coordinate the planning, design, operations, maintenance, and resource allocation of telecommunications activities, including client/server support and strategic planning.
• Consult with and advise others on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities, and methods related to telecommunications.
• Train or instruct users in the proper use of hardware or software.

Operational and Team Collaboration

• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team to reach common goals.
• Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Follow all company policies and procedures and protect company assets.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree is preferred.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No prior supervisory experience is required.
• License or Certification: None specified.

Workplace Standards and Physical Requirements

• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.
• Visually verify information and enter/locate information using computers/Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
