Roche is seeking a Supply Chain Lead, Public Sector to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field. The role serves as a primary operational liaison, driving end-to-end customer fulfillment and streamlining processes within the public sector supply chain.

The Role

The Supply Chain Lead for the Public Sector will act as the main operational point of contact between Roche Diagnostics Saudi Arabia, NUPCO, the Ministry of Health (MOH), and third-party logistics (3PL) providers. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient customer fulfillment, optimizing order-to-cash (O2C) processes, and fostering strong, direct relationships with key public stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for NUPCO and MOH supply chain operations and warehouses.
• Establish and maintain regular operational review meetings with the NUPCO Supply Chain team to ensure alignment on tender fulfillment and delivery schedules.
• Represent Roche Diagnostics Saudi Arabia in operational forums, proactively resolving fulfillment bottlenecks and delivery disputes.
• Act as the primary Supply Chain partner for the tender business, collaborating closely with the Head of Sales MOH while maintaining clear functional accountability within the Supply Chain organization.
• Establish and lead a regular Tender Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and governance process with MOH Sales, covering tender pipeline visibility, demand assumptions, supply feasibility, inventory readiness, execution risks, and customer commitments.
• Ensure joint Supply Chain–Commercial decision-making through transparent KPIs, documented assumptions, agreed actions, and clear escalation mechanisms. Unresolved cross-functional priorities will be escalated jointly to the Head of Supply Chain and Head of Sales MOH.
• Oversee the end-to-end order lifecycle for NUPCO / MOH tenders / purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment.
• Track and expedite the issuance of Goods Received Notes (GRNs) from NUPCO/MOH stores and MOH labs.
• Manage portal operations, including NUPCO platforms.
• Coordinate with local 3PL providers to ensure On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) deliveries across NUPCO warehouses and to end customers.
• Monitor delivery windows and batch documentation to prevent penalties and liquidated damages.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, particularly within the public sector or with government entities. A strong understanding of tender processes, logistics, and stakeholder management is essential.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves working closely with internal teams at Roche Diagnostics Saudi Arabia, as well as external partners such as NUPCO, the Ministry of Health, and 3PL providers.
