About the Tamheer Training Opportunity

Jamjoom Pharma is offering a Tamheer training opportunity for a Pharmacovigilance (PV) Trainee in Jeddah, Makkah. This internship is designed for fresh Pharmacy graduates with 0-1 years of experience who are looking to gain practical, hands-on exposure to day-to-day pharmacovigilance activities. The trainee will operate under the direct supervision and guidance of the Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Individual Case Safety Report (ICSR) processing, including data entry, coding, and narrative preparation.
  • Assist with case follow-up and the collection of missing safety information.
  • Support the assessment of seriousness, expectedness, and causality under appropriate supervision.
  • Assist with safety case processing and reporting in accordance with applicable regulatory timelines.
  • Maintain PV records, safety databases, and related documentation.
  • Support literature screening and the identification of relevant safety information.
  • Assist with safety data review and signal detection activities.
  • Support the preparation of PSURs/PBRERs, RMPs, and other PV documentation.
  • Participate in PV compliance activities, including SOPs, CAPAs, deviations, audits, and inspections.
  • Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Medical Affairs on relevant PV activities.
  • Participate in PV training and other departmental activities as assigned.

Learning Outcomes

  • Practical exposure to ICSR management and safety reporting.

  • Exposure to aggregate safety reports and risk management activities.
  • Understanding of PV compliance and quality systems.
  • Cross-functional exposure to Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Medical Affairs.
