About the Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Trainee - Operational Excellence to join its team in Jeddah. This internship opportunity is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are eager to contribute to process improvement initiatives within the organization.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to assist in implementing process improvement initiatives across all functions of CareConnect. The objective is to eliminate service failures that impact the patient experience, ensuring alignment with agreed timelines, objectives, and targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Focused Improvement: Collect service failures from various channels, develop service loss trees to identify top failures, facilitate and follow up on improvement activities with cross-functional teams, manage root cause analysis using structured methodologies, identify countermeasures, assist in regular reviews, and propose additional solutions.
• Continuous Improvement Culture Building: Understand CareConnect's current state and business model, assist in developing a process improvement framework (*, TPS, Kaizen, PDCA, 5S, Gemba), help educate and spread awareness through training sessions and One Point-Lessons, institutionalize Kaizen visual management and recognition programs, monitor Kaizen projects, and communicate updates.
• Process Governance: Conduct process mapping exercises and document flowcharts, perform process analysis and time & motion studies to identify optimization areas, identify and implement actions to eliminate waste, measure the impact of process changes, create process documentation and train staff, and conduct quarterly reviews of CareConnect processes with functional leaders.
