Vice President Corporate Finance

About the Role

Selected Recruitment has been engaged to support a major organization in Saudi Arabia with the appointment of a Vice President Corporate Finance. This is a highly senior finance leadership position, operating effectively as a Deputy CFO and working closely with the Group CFO and executive leadership team. The role is full-time and based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will take a leading role across corporate finance, funding, treasury, FP&A, investment governance, and major strategic transactions. This position involves supporting the wider financial strategy of a complex, capital-intensive organization, acting as a senior deputy to the Group CFO on both strategic and day-to-day financial matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as a senior deputy to the Group CFO on strategic and day-to-day financial matters.
• Leading and developing the organization's corporate finance, treasury, funding, and FP&A capabilities.
• Supporting major M&A, investment, and strategic transaction activity, including financial due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and negotiations.
• Leading discussions around funding, debt, refinancing, and capital structure.
• Providing financial leadership across major investments and capital allocation decisions.
• Leading long-range financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
• Strengthening investment governance and the financial evaluation of major business opportunities.
• Working closely with banks, lenders, auditors, advisors, senior executives, and Board-level stakeholders.
• Supporting complex joint ventures, partnerships, and international operations.
• Providing strong financial leadership across a complex, multi-entity organization.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in finance.
• Early-career experience within a Big Four audit firm (PwC, Deloitte, EY, or KPMG).
• Significant subsequent experience within corporate finance and senior finance leadership.
• Strong exposure to M&A and complex transactions, including negotiations.
• Hands-on experience with funding, debt, and financing.
• Previous experience operating as a CFO, Deputy CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent senior finance leader.
• Experience within a large, capital-intensive organization.

Industry Experience

Candidates with experience from infrastructure, logistics, ports & terminals, oil & gas, mining, and other asset-intensive industries are particularly relevant for this position.

Location

This is a Jeddah-based position within the Makkah region of Saudi Arabia.
