Fireman Contracting is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Technician to join our team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah Region, and is designed for individuals with foundational experience in mechanical systems, particularly within security and safety contexts.

Role Overview

The Mechanical Technician will play a crucial role in supporting mechanical maintenance operations, assisting with diagnostics, and ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols. This position is integral to maintaining the operational efficiency and safety standards of our equipment and systems, contributing to the overall reliability of our services.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist in performing mechanical maintenance work for various equipment and systems.
• Participate in the inspection and diagnosis of mechanical faults.
• Utilize mechanical tools and equipment correctly and safely.
• Contribute to installation, testing, and operational tasks.
• Prepare and update maintenance records and reports accurately.
• Adhere strictly to occupational safety and health procedures.
• Cooperate effectively with the work team to accomplish tasks according to approved plans.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of one year of experience in a relevant mechanical role.
• Demonstrated experience in security and safety, firefighting, and fire alarm systems.
• Possession of an Accreditation Certificate from the Saudi Council of Engineers.

Essential Skills and Work Location

• Good proficiency in the English language.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be physically present in Jeddah city, as this is the main workplace for the role.
