About the Role
AlRomaih Industrial Commercial Group is seeking a Facility Management Engineer for a full-time position in Khamis Mushayt, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to overseeing preventative and corrective maintenance, managing financial performance, and ensuring efficient facility operations. The engineer will coordinate with various internal teams and external vendors to protect company assets and enhance departmental operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance activities, including on-site inspections and project coordination.
- Coordinate with the Regional Engineers team to ensure proper service delivery and safeguard current and future company assets.
- Provide prompt responses to requests and address issues raised by facility occupants.
- Carry out project takeovers according to approved processes, identifying and addressing all Defect Liability Period (DLP) issues within the specified timeframe.
Financial Management and Vendor Relations
- Manage the financial performance of facility operations, encompassing annual forecasting, accurate analysis of monthly variances, and preparation of capital plans.
- Evaluate, select, and manage all service providers and vendors, including contractors for cleaning, engineering, repair, and minor works.
- Ensure the proper utilization and deployment of available resources in the most economic ways to achieve organizational objectives and implement operational plans.
- Prepare scopes of work for rectification issues and Service, Supply, and Maintenance (SSM) contracts that require third-party involvement.
Operational Planning and Compliance
- Prepare the Annual Facility Management (FM) plan and submit it for section head approval.
- Ensure strict adherence to statutory requisites, including the upkeep and renewal of all required licenses.
- Implement continual improvement activities aimed at enhancing departmental operations.
- Advise on and monitor energy efficiency initiatives within the facilities.
Technical Support and System Administration
- Conduct technical training sessions for technicians and engineers as per the established plan.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the design team on proposals and projects, recommending cost-effective and high-quality systems, brands, and materials.
- Manage all FM activities through the company's Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system.
- Execute all function-related activities using safe and environmentally sound methods.
General Duties
The Facility Management Engineer will also perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor or manager, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of facility operations within AlRomaih Industrial Commercial Group in Khamis Mushayt.
