
Nurse Specialist
Job Description
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Create a health file for all beneficiaries (weight and height measurement.. etc.) in a scheduled manner and participate in case studies.
Monitor beneficiaries for infectious diseases and prepare a health report on beneficiary protection systems and measures taken against the transmission of any infection.
Conduct medical surveys for case studies, record important observations, and cases requiring continuous follow-up.
Follow up on medical examinations and the fitness of beneficiaries enrolled in the center.
Monitor beneficiaries receiving necessary vaccinations according to their schedule.
Participate in health awareness for parents, oral hygiene, common diseases, and prevention methods.
Identify beneficiaries under temporary medical care and follow up with parents.
Follow up on obtaining parental consent if the beneficiary is receiving any medication dose at the center, recording the specific time and dose.
Identify beneficiaries suffering from epilepsy or seizures and train the specialist on how to handle any emergency situation and how to administer first aid until the nurse arrives.
Identify cases suffering from chronic diseases periodically (heart problems, diabetes, or asthma) and isolate beneficiaries with asthma in a well-ventilated area in case of any atmospheric emergency.
Identify cases suffering from drug or food allergies, communicate with parents, and determine the procedure in case the beneficiary experiences an allergic reaction, documenting it on the approved form.
Follow up and coordinate with supporting program specialists who require physical exertion from the beneficiary, clarifying their health status and the type of suitable exercises with their health condition.
Monitor beneficiaries in case of illness, fever, or any accidental incident (administering first aid) or any procedure requiring the transfer of the beneficiary to an external facility, and coordinate with the department to inform or request parents.
Prepare a weekly report on emergency cases and actions taken, and submit it to the branch manager and the direct physician.
Assist in educating about therapeutic nutrition methods and healthy eating.
Monitor medications and their side effects on the beneficiary and prepare a monthly report on this.
Prepare a monthly report on interventions performed and the types of injuries that occurred.
Monitor first aid kit supplies and maintain medical equipment, and report for provision or maintenance.
Prepare quarterly and annual reports on medical services provided to cases within the center.
Train staff and employees who have direct contact with beneficiaries in dealing with medical conditions (epilepsy, diabetes, asthma, nosebleeds, etc.).
Perform any assigned tasks that fall within the health field.
Provide psychological and emotional support to beneficiaries and their families.
Adhere to the company's policy regarding files and reports.
Receive, maintain, and report any damage to assigned equipment and tools.
Commit to attending training courses and meetings announced by the company.
Attend events that contribute to improving the center's image, highlight the department's role, and integrate the beneficiary into society.
The nurse is obligated to comply with all company and center regulations and any tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Cooperate and interact with a team spirit.
Adhere to working hours.
Competencies and Skills:
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor of Nursing.
Saudi Commission for Health Specialties classification.
Personal Skills:
Ability to deal with emergency cases and take appropriate action.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills after obtaining supervisor approval.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and deal with field challenges.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using computers, Microsoft Office programs, and technical applications.
Communication Skills:
Excellent skills in cooperation and interaction with the rehabilitation team.
Maintaining beneficiary confidentiality.

- GOSI Registration Required or Sponsorship Transfer
- Requires 2-5 Years experience
