About the Night Auditor Role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Night Auditor to join our full-time team in Medina, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity of financial operations, focusing on the accurate management of figures, entries, and documents. The Night Auditor will be responsible for overseeing financial information, controlling cash, and ensuring all records are meticulously kept in adherence to company policies.

Key Financial Responsibilities

• Check all figures, entries, and financial documents for accuracy.
• Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
• Control and obtain hotel cash and cash equivalents in accordance with established cash handling policies and procedures.
• Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records, ensuring compliance with document retention and confidentiality policies.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute various statistical, financial, accounting, audit, and payroll tables and reports.
• Conduct audits of statistical, financial, accounting, audit, and payroll tables and reports.
• Audit and reconcile all revenue entries.

Operational Duties and Compliance

• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management.
• Maintain vigilance for the presence of undesirable persons on hotel premises.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring a neat and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Protect the privacy and security of guests and colleagues.
• Adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Guest Services and Team Collaboration

• Receive and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation and assist persons with disabilities.
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, preparing accurate documents and answering telephones using appropriate protocol.
• Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to achieve common goals.
• Listen and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or an equivalent certificate from a General Educational Development (GED) program.
• Experience: No related work experience is required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
• License or Certification: None.
