About the Role

Rotana Jabal Omar Makkah is seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to join its finance team in Makkah. This full-time position is ideal for finance professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to delivering precise financial reporting and supporting guest services during night operations. The role involves conducting thorough night audits and preparing essential daily financial summaries.

Role Overview

As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely execution of all night audit procedures. This includes the preparation of summaries for rebates, paid outs, and daily revenue reports, ensuring financial integrity and operational efficiency. The position requires a detail-oriented individual capable of managing financial records and contributing to a smooth operational flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Review the Night Auditors Logbook for any specific instructions from the Income Auditor.
• Verify approvals for complimentary rooms, late checkouts without charges, and day use room charges.
• Print the business call journal and ensure all long-distance calls and faxes are supported by a Business Calls Authorization voucher.
• Verify guest ledger charges from concessionaires against their respective summaries.
• Review the room rate variance report and accurately post room and tax charges for the day.
• Print the ‘Revenue Report today Gross and Budget’ and correctly split service charge and tax for room revenue.
• Print various financial reports and reconcile them with supporting vouchers, including visa income, ‘Marhaba’ charges, and miscellaneous income.
• Export Micros revenue data to the Opera live system and execute pre-audit backups.
• Perform file maintenance tasks and prepare the comprehensive daily revenue report.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of experience in a finance-related role, preferably within the hospitality sector. This role is suitable for individuals beginning their career in finance who demonstrate a strong aptitude for numerical accuracy and financial processes.
