Safety Officer

About the Role

الركائز الثابتة is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join its team in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves ensuring the highest standards of occupational safety and health are maintained across project sites within a professional work environment. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in occupational safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of occupational safety and health policies and procedures at project sites.
• Identify potential hazards and develop preventive measures to reduce accidents and injuries.
• Monitor compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Prepare inspection reports, incident reports, and safety performance indicators.
• Conduct awareness and field training for workers on safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and approved safety requirements for projects.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Relevant academic qualification in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
• Preferably over 3 years of practical experience in occupational safety, particularly in contracting and infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with occupational safety and health systems, procedures, and standards (OSHA / NEBOSH).
• Ability to assess risks, prepare safety reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Experience in conducting field inspections and ensuring compliance with safety requirements at work sites.

Required Skills

• Effective communication and coordination skills with engineering and technical teams, and project management.
