About the Role

KUN Sports is seeking a dedicated Asset Control Specialist to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring the accurate tracking, monitoring, and reporting of all company-owned assets. The specialist will play a key part in supporting asset lifecycle management and maintaining full compliance with accounting and audit standards, working closely with procurement, operations, and internal audit teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a centralized and updated fixed asset register for all departments and branches.
  • Tag, document, and barcode all company assets upon receipt and deployment.
  • Perform regular physical asset verification and audits to reconcile system data with actual inventory.
  • Coordinate asset transfers, write-offs, disposals, and internal movements according to company policy and with proper documentation.
  • Support the finance team in calculating and recording depreciation, verifying asset values, and reconciling asset-related accounts during closing cycles.
  • Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to validate asset acquisition records and delivery confirmations.
  • Monitor asset usage and alert management regarding underutilized or idle assets for possible reallocation.
  • Prepare asset-related reports for finance leadership and internal and external auditors.
  • Implement and improve asset control processes to minimize loss, misplacement, and data errors.
  • Assist in periodic policy reviews and ensure compliance with accounting standards, audit requirements, and company procedures.
  • Investigate and report discrepancies or incidents of missing/damaged assets and suggest corrective measures.
  • Ensure secure storage and backup of all asset documentation, warranties, and contracts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in asset management, finance operations, or internal audit.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Experience with ERP systems or fixed asset modules.
  • Strong knowledge of asset accounting principles and controls.
  • Proficiency in Excel, asset tracking software, and finance-related databases.
  • High attention to detail and analytical accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination skills across departments.
  • Ability to conduct audits and produce compliance-ready reports.

Work Environment and Travel

This is a full-time position that requires frequent domestic travel across the country. Candidates must also be open to working under flexible hours to meet operational demands.
