The Role: Associate Director Warehousing Operations

Noon is seeking an Associate Director Warehousing Operations to lead end-to-end warehousing operations across Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and requires over 10 years of experience. The role involves overseeing ambient, chilled, and frozen storage facilities, with accountability for operational excellence, cost optimization, and network development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse operations across Riyadh, Jeddah, and other locations in Saudi Arabia, covering ambient, chilled, and frozen facilities.
• Ensure operational excellence, food safety, inventory accuracy, standardized SOPs, service levels, business continuity, and efficient warehouse capacity utilization.
• Manage warehouse operating costs and achieve approved cost-per-order (CPO) and cost-per-unit targets in line with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Drive sustainable cost savings through process optimization, resource utilization, waste reduction, and operational efficiency without compromising quality or safety.
• Develop data-driven workforce plans aligned with forecasted volumes, shift requirements, and seasonal demand.
• Optimize labor deployment, productivity, and overtime while establishing performance benchmarks, accountability mechanisms, and leadership development plans.
• Manage and optimize the replenishment network connecting warehouses to dark stores across Saudi Arabia.
• Ensure inventory availability, efficient dispatch planning, replenishment service levels, and coordination with demand planning, inventory management, and dark-store operations.
• Lead warehouse expansion projects from capacity planning and site readiness through commissioning and operational handover.
• Optimize the warehouse network, storage capacity, infrastructure, and capital deployment to support business growth within approved budgets and timelines.
• Oversee warehouse financial planning, OPEX and CAPEX budgets, forecasting, and performance reviews.
• Evaluate investment proposals, monitor budget variances, assess ROI, and ensure financial accountability in alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee warehouse infrastructure and maintenance in coordination with facilities and engineering teams.
• Ensure equipment reliability, refrigeration performance, preventive maintenance, facility uptime, cost control, and compliance with applicable safety and food-storage requirements.
• Establish performance dashboards, standardized operating procedures, and governance frameworks across all warehouse locations.
• Monitor KPIs covering throughput, inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock time, fulfillment, labor productivity, replenishment, cost, and service levels, driving continuous improvement and corrective actions.
