Asst. Manager Technology

About the Role

Catrion is seeking an Asst. Manager Technology to join their team in Makkah, with work locations including Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role involves designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise applications and systems across various business functions. The position focuses on end-to-end software development, system integration, troubleshooting, deployment, and continuous improvement of applications within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using Java-based technologies.
• Develop frontend and backend components utilizing Java, Swing, JSF, Angular/React, and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP Web Services integrations.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures, queries, packages, and database objects.
• Work with Oracle and MySQL databases for application development and troubleshooting.
• Manage application deployment and configuration on JBOSS and WebLogic application servers.
• Utilize Maven and ANT build tools for project build and dependency management.
• Develop reports using Jasper Reports and/or BIRT reporting tools.
• Implement containerized solutions using Docker.
• Support CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Maintain source code repositories using Git/SVN version control systems.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with business users, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in project planning, implementation, testing, rollout, and support activities.
• Ensure system performance, scalability, reliability, and security standards are maintained.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and support documentation.
• Adhere to Cybersecurity policies, procedures, and data protection standards.
• Perform other duties related to the role and company operations as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in full-stack development.
• Experience working on projects within the catering domain.
• Knowledge of deployment automation and DevOps practices.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Java, Swing, JSF, Angular/React, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP Web Services.
• Strong skills in PL/SQL, Oracle, and MySQL databases.
• Familiarity with JBOSS and WebLogic application servers.
• Competence in Maven and ANT build tools.
• Experience with Jasper Reports and/or BIRT reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Docker for containerized solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in Git/SVN version control systems.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with primary work locations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions and maintain system integrity.
