Role Overview: Bus Driver

KBR is seeking a Bus Driver to join our team in Makkah, with operations covering cities such as Rabigh and Makkah. This full-time role involves the safe and timely transportation of various materials, which may include supplies, hazardous chemicals, or manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport cargo efficiently from one location to another for distribution, purchase, or sale.
• Conduct thorough safety inspections of vehicles and adhere strictly to all safety instructions, particularly when handling hazardous materials or chemicals.
• Maintain responsibility for the vehicle's condition, identifying and reporting any malfunctioning parts.
• Inspect cargo to ensure it has been loaded correctly and securely.
• Review all necessary shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure full compliance with all established safety procedures.
• Promote and encourage the reporting of unsafe acts and conditions within the workplace.
• Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) procedures both prior to and during work activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Candidates must be in good physical condition, capable of extended periods on the road.
• Possess knowledge of vehicle maintenance to address potential breakdowns.
• Demonstrate punctuality and adherence to schedules to ensure timely transportation of materials.
• Exhibit careful attention and strict adherence to precautionary measures when transporting hazardous or fragile materials.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar driving role is required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, involving travel between cities such as Rabigh and Makkah. The role requires a strong focus on safety and adherence to operational protocols, particularly when handling diverse cargo types.
