We invite a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role offers a significant step in a professional journey within a dynamic industrial environment, requiring 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Calibration Technician is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of factory instruments and equipment through precise calibration and maintenance activities. This role is critical in upholding operational standards, complying with regulatory requirements, and supporting the efficiency of production processes within a large-scale food manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration activities for factory instruments and equipment in accordance with approved plans, procedures, and technical specifications.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on test apparatus and peripheral equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Analyze and interpret calibration data, identify deviations, and implement appropriate actions to complete calibration activities effectively.
• Maintain an accurate and current database of instruments, calibration records, reports, and certificates.
• Ensure all calibration activities and documentation adhere to internal procedures, audit requirements, and applicable industry standards.
• Coordinate with external calibration companies and suppliers for necessary calibration services, documentation, and certificates.
• Collaborate closely with Maintenance and Production teams to support equipment reliability and meet operational requirements.
• Ensure all tasks comply with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), food safety, and company standards and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Practical knowledge of instrument calibration, test equipment, calibration procedures, and associated documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret technical data and maintain precise calibration records and certificates.
• Basic understanding of food manufacturing processes and food safety requirements.
• Familiarity with SAP PM is preferred.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a relevant calibration role.

Work Location

This position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Candidates must either be currently residing in Jeddah or be willing to relocate to the city, with the flexibility to commute to the factory location as required.
