The Role of QA Technician

Almarai is seeking a QA Technician to join its team in Makkah. This full-time role involves coordinating all quality-related aspects within Poultry Operations, working under the guidance of the SQAM/DQAM (Poultry) to support the plant's quality team in effective quality management.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all quality aspects within Poultry Operations.
• Assist the Quality team in the plant to manage quality effectively.
• Work under the guidance of the SQAM / DQAM (Poultry) to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Sciences or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality role within a Meat Processing Plant, with a preference for protein processing experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Quality role within a Meat Processing Plant.
• Experience in a Quality role within a Poultry Processing Plant.
• Experience at a supervisory level.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Good working knowledge of Quality standards, systems, and audits.
• Good operational knowledge of Meat Processing and Animal Health.
• Good operational knowledge of Quality Systems and audits.

Work Location

This full-time position is based in Makkah.
