About MBRF and the Role

MBRF is seeking a Chemical Laboratory Jr Analyst GF to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time position is integral to ensuring product quality and innovation, supporting various departments through precise chemical analysis. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare samples according to test methods, ensuring proper identification and registration in the laboratory management system.
• Execute chemical laboratory analyses for finished products, raw materials, ingredients, water, and cleaning chemicals as per the sampling plan.
• Enter analysis results into sample record sheets and the laboratory data entry system, maintaining traceability and control records.
• Prepare reagent chemicals and record details with appropriate labels.
• Calibrate equipment before daily activities or as needed for specific instruments.
• Prepare requests for material reservations from the store.
• Check equipment integrity and maintain preventive maintenance records.
• Encode results and elaborate laboratory reports.
• Promote validation processes and issue procedures for technical and operational training.
• Monitor and record daily laboratory activities, updating checklists.
• Create maintenance service notifications.
• Prepare and standardize reagents and solutions for analysis, maintaining records.
• Provide technical support to production, quality assurance, and R&D by delivering analysis results with interpretation.
• Describe and update laboratory procedures, and create applicable forms.
• Follow up on analyses, evaluate results, and establish standards and nutritional tables if required.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and comply with the company’s 5S principles.
• Maintain chemical inventory and provide monthly and quarterly reports to concerned teams.
• Implement and update the laboratory system based on ISO 17025 requirements if needed.
• Assist in activities by developing new methodologies and searching for new technologies and improvements.
• Develop practical skills for other methodologies, including other areas of the lab.
• Receive samples, ensuring appropriate conditions upon receipt.
• Check received external reports in accordance with applicable standards.
• Update dry ingredients analysis status in the HOI file after successful analysis and updating in LIMS.
• Responsible for Ingredient supplier COA.
• Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines and ensure adherence to the BRF Sustainability Plan through routine activities that promote compliance with indicators and global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments, ensuring the connection between actions and sustainable development in the BRF chain.
