Civil Engineer

About the Role

EMAR Saudi for Energy Works is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting civil construction and infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia, ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise civil construction and infrastructure projects.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and technical documents.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and approved schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Oversee quantity surveying, material verification, and site inspections.
• Monitor project progress, identify technical issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Support project documentation and close-out activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Saudi National.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in contracting or construction projects is preferred.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction materials, and structural engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Good knowledge of quality control (QA/QC) and construction safety standards.
• Familiarity with AI tools and the ability to use them effectively in daily work.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
