Al-Khaleej Computers & Electronic Systems is seeking an experienced Digital Quality Engineer (Software Tester) to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to ensuring the quality and performance of digital systems within the organization.

The Role of a Digital Quality Engineer

The Digital Quality Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing comprehensive testing strategies, encompassing both manual and automated approaches. This role focuses on ensuring the functionality and technical performance of digital systems, while also contributing to continuous integration to enhance the overall delivery process.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed Test Plans and Testing Strategies to create comprehensive implementation plans.
• Formulate Test Cases, including Functional, Technical, and Traceability Matrix components.
• Program, develop, implement, and maintain automation scripts for both front-end and back-end systems.
• Execute functional tests, API tests, and performance tests.
• Manage the testing process within CI/CD pipelines to support integration and deployment.
• Analyze test results, prepare technical reports, and document bug reports.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering and Software Assurance.
• Preference will be given to candidates holding a professional certificate in Automated Tests, such as ISTQB CTAL.

Essential Technical Skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (*, Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and tools, including Selenium, Cypress, Playwright for interfaces, and Rest Assured, Postman for APIs.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git for code management.
• Working experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Ability to write SQL queries for data validation in databases.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dedicated team focused on enhancing the quality of digital systems.
