About the Role

Majestic Office Furniture is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Support Specialist to join their team in Makkah. This full-time role involves supporting the company’s daily IT operations, focusing on the reliability of devices, networks, and technology services. The specialist will provide technical support to users, manage accounts and access permissions, maintain backups and endpoint protection, and ensure accurate asset and licensing records.

Role Purpose and Context

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure and providing essential support to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency. This includes coordinating with internal departments and external vendors to resolve technical issues and support ongoing IT projects and improvements. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues across all company departments.
  • Maintain and monitor IT services, including email, internet connectivity, shared files, and telephony. Support access to business systems such as Odoo and Power BI, and coordinate with specialists for issue resolution.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, scanners, and network equipment.
  • Monitor network performance, Wi-Fi connectivity, and service availability, resolving connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
  • Perform routine system maintenance and software updates, maintain endpoint protection and backups, and conduct periodic restore tests.
  • Create and manage user accounts and access permissions based on approved requests, including granting, modifying, and revoking access during employee onboarding, role changes, and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, assigned equipment, software licenses, and renewal dates, and document support requests, maintenance activities, and resolutions.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment repairs and system maintenance, including support for telephony, CCTV, and peripheral systems when required.
  • Support IT projects, system upgrades, and technology improvements in accordance with approved plans.
  • Implement approved information security policies, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), access controls, security updates, and data protection measures.
  • Provide basic user training and guidance on IT equipment, technology services, and secure usage practices.
  • Perform other support and infrastructure-related duties assigned by the Digital Transformation & IT Department within the scope of the role.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in IT support or infrastructure operations, preferably in multi-department organizations, multi-site businesses, or industrial environments.
  • Good practical knowledge of Windows operating systems and the setup and troubleshooting of computers, printers, and software.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365, email services, user accounts, groups, and access permissions.
  • Good knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and Wi-Fi, with familiarity with VLANs and basic firewall and VPN configuration.
  • Familiarity with user administration through Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID, shared-folder permissions, and backup and restore procedures.
  • Experience supporting telephony, CCTV, IT asset management, and coordination with system vendors is an advantage.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft certifications related to device and systems administration are preferred.
