About the Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Manager PMO to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the successful completion of programs, projects, and events by coordinating and managing team activities. The Manager PMO develops action plans across departments to ensure compliance, prompt execution, and timely delivery, particularly for projects within Bupa Arabia's Operations, including regulatory and risk items. A key aspect of this position is enhancing Bupa Arabia’s relationships with regulators such as SAMA and CHI.

Program and Portfolio Management

The Manager PMO is responsible for comprehensive program and portfolio oversight, ensuring strategic alignment and effective delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing project portfolios to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Providing project management guidance and support to project managers and teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establishing and maintaining project management standards, methodologies, and best practices for consistency and quality across projects.
  • Overseeing both IT and APP Operational Projects, as well as Non-IT Operational Projects, ensuring effective governance, reporting, and delivery.
  • Managing operational risks and internal audit agendas until closure.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing project managers and team members to enhance their skills and performance, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Risk Management and Business Improvement

This role involves proactive identification and mitigation of risks, alongside driving continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments to evaluate compliance with Operational requirements and identifying areas for improvement, including regulatory items.
  • Performing risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies to minimize compliance risks and ensure adherence to Operational guidelines.
  • Leading project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and promote continuous learning and development.

Stakeholder Engagement and Regulatory Compliance

The Manager PMO is crucial in fostering strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks. Key duties include:

  • Designing and implementing new stakeholder engagement strategies that identify the needs of key groups and sponsors.
  • Selecting effective methodologies for communication, collaboration, and interaction with influential stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and reporting on compliance metrics and key performance indicators to senior management and Operational bodies.
  • Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, laws, and standards.
  • Monitoring and interpreting Operational changes and requirements within the healthcare industry.
  • Overseeing Operational projects, specifically including regulatory and risk items.
  • Understanding and optimizing the customer journey (NPS).

Operational Collaboration and Executive Support

This role requires close collaboration with internal departments and efficient management of executive-assigned tasks. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with internal departments such as legal, compliance, quality assurance, and operations to assess and address Operational compliance issues.
  • Providing guidance and training to employees on Operational requirements, ensuring understanding and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Managing the process of responding to Operational inquiries, including gathering necessary information, preparing documentation, and coordinating responses.
  • Quickly assessing and prioritizing tasks assigned by management, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Collaborating with various departments to gather necessary information and resources to address ad-hoc tasks effectively.
  • Keeping management informed of the progress and status of ad-hoc tasks, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Manager PMO position should possess the following:

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
