About the Role
Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Pediatric Dentistry Registrar to join their team in Makkah, Makkah Region. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves diagnosing and treating injuries or illnesses within the Pediatric Dentistry department. The Registrar will be responsible for patient examinations, medical histories, medication prescriptions, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and accurately document findings.
- Design and execute comprehensive patient care plans.
- Educate patients on their health conditions, required investigations, treatment options, and medication use.
- Provide patient counseling on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare relevant to their individual cases.
- Order and review results of patient investigations.
- Prescribe necessary medications for patients.
- Fulfill all obligations related to patient records.
- Adhere to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures, Bylaws Strategic Plan, Rules & Regulation.
- Comply with the mission, vision goals, and practice guidelines in NCC.
- Actively participate in assigned NCC Committees and Task Forces.
- Adhere to CBAHI standards of care.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments, local agencies, vendors, patients, and their families.
- Complete fire safety requirements and comply with clinical and departmental structure standards, including attendance.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement/program evaluation activities to ensure Clinical, MOH, and CBAHI quality Standards and Regulations are met.
- Contribute to the continuous professional development of junior staff.
- Integrate population factors of heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care.
- Develop, participate, and support an active Continuing Medical Education program for the Section, Department, or Clinical as assigned.
Specialty Tasks
- Perform specific privileges based on training, experience, skills, and in adherence to the guidelines of the Saudi Health Council.
- Undertake additional tasks as determined by specialty and Clinical Privileges.
Work Environment
This role operates entirely indoors (100%). The work schedule is 6 working days per week with 1 day off, comprising 8 net working hours daily according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
