Job Description

About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Pediatric Dentistry Registrar to join their team in Makkah. This full-time role involves diagnosing and treating injuries or illnesses within the Pediatric Dentistry department, focusing on comprehensive patient care from examination to treatment planning and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and accurately document findings.
  • Design and execute individualized patient care plans.
  • Educate patients on their health conditions, necessary investigations, treatment options, and medication usage.
  • Provide patient education on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Order and review results of patient investigations.
  • Prescribe medications for patients as required.
  • Fulfill all obligations related to patient records.
  • Perform additional tasks based on specialty and clinical privileges, adhering to Saudi health council guidelines.

Compliance and Professional Development

  • Adhere to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures, Bylaws Strategic Plan, Rules & Regulations.
  • Comply with the mission, vision, goals, and practice guidelines of NCC.
  • Actively participate in assigned NCC Committees and Task Forces.
  • Adhere to CBAHI standards of care.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments, local agencies, vendors, patients, and their families.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities to ensure Clinical, MOH, and CBAHI quality standards are met.
  • Contribute to the continuous professional development of junior staff.
  • Integrate population factors such as heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care.
  • Develop, participate, and support active Continuing Medical Education programs for the assigned Section, Department, or Clinic.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Demonstrated evidence-based practice orientation.
  • Ability to perform specific privileges based on training, experience, and skills.

Work Environment

The role is primarily performed indoors (100%). The work schedule consists of 6 working days per week with 1 day off, totaling 8 net working hours per day according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
