About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a skilled Plumber to join their team in Makkah. This full-time role involves maintaining and repairing plumbing systems, ensuring all installations and repairs meet established standards and safety protocols. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Address minor plumbing issues, including unclogging drains.
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings accurately.
• Conduct water or air pressure tests on pipes and fixtures to detect and locate leaks.
• Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to plan installations.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required angles.
• Install and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures.
• Perform various minor repairs as needed.
• Execute preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete necessary safety training and certifications.
• Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Acknowledge guests according to company standards and anticipate their service needs.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with others.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 75 pounds independently.
• Capability to assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects exceeding 100 pounds.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of various sizes and weights.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Comfortable moving up and down a ladder.
• Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree is preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in plumbing.
• No supervisory experience is required for this position.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, where the Plumber will perform duties as requested by supervisors and contribute to maintaining high standards within the facility.
