Radiology Technique Specialist

About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Radiology Technique Specialist to join their team in Makkah, Mecca. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves performing diagnostic radiographs and maintaining X-ray equipment, ensuring strict compliance with clinic regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographs and ensure daily maintenance of X-ray equipment and rooms.
• Manage the daily maintenance of X-ray film processors.
• Handle the processing of radiology requests, reports, and X-ray films.
• Ensure strict compliance with all applicable clinic rules and regulations.

Accountabilities

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and setting exposure factors.
• Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, providing explanations of treatment, and answering questions.
• Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff through radiation protection techniques, including beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors.
• Maintain the production and quality of radiographs by adhering to established standards and procedures, developing radiographs, observing results, and making necessary adjustments.
• Protect patients and employees by strictly adhering to infection-control policies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.

Work Environment

This role operates entirely indoors (100%). The work schedule consists of 6 working days per week with 1 day off. Daily working hours are 8 net hours, structured according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
