About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Radiology Technique Specialist to join their team in Makkah, Makkah Region. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience. The specialist will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographs, maintaining equipment, and managing radiology requests and reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographs and ensure daily maintenance of X-ray equipment and rooms.
  • Maintain the X-ray film processor daily and handle the processing of radiology requests, reports, and X-ray films.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all applicable clinic rules and regulations.
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and setting equipment controls for exposure factors.
  • Minimize patient and staff radiation exposure by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors.
  • Maintain the production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures, developing radiographs, observing results, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Stay updated on professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in radiology techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform diagnostic radiographs and maintain related equipment.
  • Proficiency in handling radiology requests, reports, and film processing.
  • Strong understanding and application of radiation protection and infection control techniques.

Work Environment and Schedule

This role operates entirely indoors (100%). The work schedule consists of 6 working days per week with 1 day off. Daily working hours are 8 net hours, structured according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
