About the Role

Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah is seeking a Resident Engineer to join its team in Makkah. This full-time position involves overseeing the engineering department's operations and ensuring the maintenance of the property and its assets. The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily activities of Engineering Department supervisors and subordinates.
• Ensure property and assets are maintained through effective management of the Jumeirah Engineering Management System.
• Monitor completed repair and maintenance works to ensure established standards are met.
• Assist in the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of the JEMS, including Fire, Life and Safety Matrix, PPM, and Work Order Systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property and engineering systems to identify maintenance requirements and ensure corrective actions.
• Coordinate with relevant hotel departments to address engineering requests and operational requirements in a timely manner.
• Monitor the performance of contractors, suppliers, and external service providers to ensure compliance with required standards.
• Communicate engineering and project updates to internal departments and external entities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Engineering Department policies, processes, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
