Facilities Engineer

About the Role

H. M. Al Rugaib & Sons Trading is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time role involves managing and coordinating facility operations and maintenance activities to ensure all facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for overseeing contractors and service providers to maintain high facility quality standards and improve the user experience. The focus is on ensuring the efficient delivery of maintenance and facility services, and supporting the operational readiness of all company facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily facilities operations and maintenance activities.
• Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure timely completion and quality work.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers, and monitor their performance.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, defects, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure proper maintenance and operational status of facilities, equipment, and systems.
• Prepare and follow up on maintenance schedules, work orders, and service requests.
• Ensure compliance with facility quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Review and monitor contractors’ work for adherence to approved specifications and quality standards.
• Support the planning and execution of facility improvement, renovation, and construction projects.
• Prepare and review technical reports, maintenance records, and facility-related documentation.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software for drawings, layouts, and technical requirements as needed.
• Coordinate with internal departments to address facility-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Identify opportunities to enhance facility efficiency, service quality, and user experience.
• Monitor facility-related costs and support effective utilization of maintenance resources.
• Ensure all facility operations comply with company policies and applicable standards.
• Perform other assigned duties related to facilities and engineering.

Experience and Work Type

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in facilities management or a related engineering field. This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar.
