Sales Optician

About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a Sales Optician to join their team in Makkah, Mecca. This full-time role involves identifying customer needs, recommending suitable optical products, and ensuring a professional customer journey from consultation to dispensing. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products, including frames, lenses, contact lenses, and sunglasses.
• Drive sales conversion, execute upselling and cross-selling strategies, and manage promotions.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
• Deliver a professional end-to-end customer experience, handling inquiries and complaints effectively.
• Build customer loyalty and foster long-term relationships.
• Accurately read and interpret prescriptions and perform contact lens fittings according to established standards.
• Ensure correct dispensing and product selection, verifying prescriptions, lens specifications, and frame alignment.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system and manage insurance approvals and invoicing (Wassel / NPHIES).
• Maintain stock accuracy, ensure product safety, and report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Maintain strong product knowledge across all categories.
• Ensure zero-error orders and resolve any issues before customer handover.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve store targets and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring ethical handling of customers and insurance.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Strong sales and customer service capabilities.
• Good understanding of insurance processes and POS systems.
• Ability to accurately read prescriptions and ensure dispensing precision.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality control mindset.

• Basic knowledge of inventory handling and stock control procedures.
