Fakeeh Care Group is seeking an Optical Technician to join their team. This full-time position is based in the Ar Riyadh District, Makkah, with opportunities in both Riyadh and Makkah. The role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Role Overview

The Optical Technician is responsible for assisting customers with their optical needs, recommending suitable products, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. This role involves direct customer interaction, sales support, and technical assistance within an optical retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products, including frames, lenses, contact lenses, and sunglasses.
• Drive sales through conversion, upselling, cross-selling, and executing promotions to achieve individual and store targets.
• Provide a professional and engaging customer experience, handling inquiries and basic complaints effectively.
• Build customer relationships and foster loyalty.
• Accurately read and interpret optical prescriptions.
• Support basic fitting, adjustments, and product selection for customers.
• Assist opticians with technical requirements as needed.
• Verify prescription, fitting, and product specifications to ensure accuracy and match with customer orders.
• Ensure products are free of defects and resolve any issues before handover to the customer.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Support insurance approvals and necessary documentation.
• Maintain stock accuracy and ensure proper handling of products.
• Report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies in inventory.
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge across all categories.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve overall store targets.
• Support opticians and the sales team during peak operational times.
• Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Maintain professional and ethical behavior at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to understand and accurately read optical prescriptions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using POS systems for transaction processing.
• Attention to detail for product verification and quality control.

Work Environment
