About the Role

MOBCO Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its project team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This part-time role requires an experienced professional to manage and supervise all electrical engineering activities across the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical works are executed in strict accordance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and approved schedules.

Project Leadership in Electrical Engineering

This position involves critical oversight of electrical works within large-scale building or construction projects. The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a pivotal role in coordinating with various project disciplines and managing external contractors to achieve project objectives. Strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities are essential to navigate complex engineering challenges and maintain high standards of execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all electrical works during project execution.
• Review and approve electrical shop drawings, material submittals, technical proposals, and method statements.
• Coordinate electrical works with civil, mechanical, architectural, and other project disciplines.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and approved drawings.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of electrical works.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
• Conduct technical reviews and resolve engineering issues during construction.
• Prepare progress reports and provide technical updates to project management.
• Participate in project meetings with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Review project schedules and ensure electrical activities are completed within the planned timeline.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical specifications and evaluating electrical materials and equipment.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically within large-scale building or construction projects.
• Demonstrated strong technical proficiency in electrical systems and engineering principles.
• Proven leadership capabilities to manage teams and coordinate complex project activities.

Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance

A key aspect of this role is ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory frameworks and quality benchmarks. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance throughout all project phases.

• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), SEC regulations, and applicable international standards.
• Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and company policies.
